We had a great turn out for our Easter Dance on April Fools Day 4/1/10.

We had 35 Moose members, 7 Students, and 14 guests. Our guests were from Seabreeze Singles, Mandarin Marauders, Silver Fox, First Coast Rounds, & Yellow Rockers. Silver Fox came to retrieve their banner.

We are still looking to complete our Birthday list, so if you would look for the signup sheet at the door or e-mail me your Birthday & Anniversary dates I would appreciate it.

Dominick made a couple of announcements for upcoming meetings at the Moose Lodge.

1^st he would like all the Moose Lodge members to come to the Election of Officers on 4/6, Tuesday night at 7:30.

2^nd he would like all the Moose Promenaders to come to the general enrollment meeting on 4/20.

I am still trying to get the e-mail list right so if you know of anyone that needs to be added or corrected, please let me know.

PAST EVENTS


3/13/10	Bob headed up the banner raid at Teddy Bears. When they presented him with the tube the banner was in, he found our missing Moose Promenaders Banner from who knows when? That makes how many now Bob??? Great job. Let see how many we can get!!
3/27/10	Benefit Dance at Anthony United Methodist Church was a huge success; they brought in over $800.00. Ask Bob & Kay about the Cake Walk! We all brought home lots of goodies..

4/8/10 Moose Promenaders 20^th Anniversary Dance. Please wear your club colors. Look forward to seeing everyone out for this dance.

4/10/10 Bob Walker will head up a banner raid at the Teddy Bears dance on Saturday night. Anyone wishing to help please let Bob know. He needs at least 4 couples, one square..

4/16-18^th Deerhaven Retreat & Conference Center

4/24/10 Gateway Callers are having a workshop at 4055 Cedar Dr, Doctors Lake Estate, Orange Park, Fl. From 2:00 – 5:00.

4/29/10 Moose Promenaders Graduation Dance for the new students for our year 2009-2010.

5/1/10 The Graduation Dance for all clubs will be held at Jax. Heights Elem. School starting at 7:30. This is a great event to welcome all our new dancers.

5/28-5/30 The Florida State Convention, Every Day Is A Holiday.

This is a wonderful event. If you haven’t purchased your ribbons yet you can still purchase them from Anita until the end of April. The price goes up after April 30^th. Anita & Mary also have a special price for the Imperial Swan Hotel & Suites.

This is the first newsletter for the Moose Promenaders Square Dance Club.

Thanks to Bill Brown for leading the decorating committee for the President’s Ball & everyone who helped. He had lots of help in organizing the cleanup & decorating of the Moose Hall. We had a good turnout for dancing. John Saunders was our special guest caller, Lisa Wall cued the rounds, and Bill Chesnut was the emcee. We had lots of good food & everyone enjoyed the dance. Moose Promenaders presidents, Tom & Pat Herscha, were reelected for 2010. Congratulations to them.

All of our members that were on the roster for 2008 will be receiving our monthly newsletter. If anyone has changed their email address or no longer want to be on our newsletter list, please email me your wishes.

It was great to see everyone at the President’s Ball. The Rollaways attended for a banner raid.

Our square dance classes are still continuing. Congratulations to Justin Miller, Victoria Payner, and Lamar & Pat McMillan for joining the Moose Promenaders. You are welcome.
